TOKYO, Japan - The Japanese government will introduce in fiscal 2004 new 10,000 yen, 5,000 yen and 1,000 yen bills with sophisticated anticounterfeit features, replacing the current notes which are almost 18 years old. (220603) -- GUANGZHOU, June 3, 2022 (Xinhua) -- A worker works on the hull of the new dragon boat "Dongpo" at Longchuanshijia, a shipyard in Panyu District of Guangzhou City, south China's Guangdong Province, March 18, 2022. During every year's Dragon Boat Festival, various of competing dragon boats are scattered along the Zhujiang River. As a traditional folk custom, Dragon boat race is very popular among locals in south China's densely river-covered Lingnan area where almost every village boasts of its own dragon boat. The dragon boat "Dongpo" made in 1868 and belonged to Chepo Village is one of the oldest dragon boats in Guangzhou. As years passed, this old dragon boat has to inevitably face aging and damage.
